Default Headlight and tail light bulbs

I want to upgrade the headlight in my 04 Mean Streak and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for high wattage aftermarket replacements. I have read that failure from vibration is a factor with some inexpensive bulbs.

Also, does anyone have recommendations for brighter tail lights bulbs and/or modulators. It seems that some aftermarket LED bulbs are not as bright as I thought they would be.

Any info will be much appreciated!

I upgraded my headlight bulb from the stock to a 100w/55w. For the tail light I went with this: a red 1157 LED #01210 I think it's much brighter than stock and it's low power consumption helps offset the increased headlight wattage.

Thanks for the reply. I've looked at Signal Dynamics website and am considering their products.

Where did you get the headlight bulb? That is the wattage I've been looking at.

Got the headlight bulb from my local dealer. Brand is "Candlepower". Don't know how it's supposed to rate with other brands but it seems to be holding up well so far.
