eBay Motors: xTreme White Plus H4 Anti Vibration PIAA Bulb (Each) (item 320081886134 end time Aug-10-07 23:02:20 PDT) Does anybody have one? I have always used them in my cages and I love the improved visibility.........Just wanted to know if anyone has tried one on there scoot? I have used them......they worked great. I bought a HID light for mine. Works better than any halogen light.

I'm thinking about getting an HID kit for my bike also...
Not sure which kit to get. Do I just get a straight xenon bulb, go with the xenon/halogen bulb combo, or get the bi-xenon? In the case of the xenon/halogen combo, the xenon is on for the low beam, and the halogen is on high beam...but isnt the xenon brighter than the halogen? Also kinda wondering which color to get. I'm thinkin 6000k.

I have used PIAA Xtreme white plus bulbs and Silverstar. Both brands have lasted several years (+20k miles) on my bikes. The PIAA Xtreme white is whiter and brighter than the silverstar but not by a whole lot. However, the newer PIAA Super Plasma GT-X looks very close to HID. I put some in my Lexus fog lights to match the HID headlights and it is a very close match.

I had the PIAA xtreme white in my last bike, and will be going to one in my new one very soon, I almost bought one yesterday while I was waiting on them to do my 3000 mi. service and install my quiet baffles. This bulb literally makes a night and day difference in how well you can see at night, well worth the $$ IMO.

I got mine from XenonLink.com HID Conversion Kit.. Actually, I bought two. The first one was the H4 8000k HID low beam and Halogen high beam. The HID bulb was great but the Halogen sucked. So, I bought the Bi-HID bulb where it has a shield that moves when you hit the high beams to direct the light upwards. It works pretty good. You would not beleive how much more light is produced with the HID over the halogen bulbs. I paid $80 for the first one and $100 for the 2nd one. This includes the bulb, ballast, and igniter.

Oh, not to mention that it is completely plug and ride. You don't have to make any modifications. If you want to remove it, just unplug and plug the halogen back in.

I have had it installed for about a month, now, with no issues. I like the 8000k because of the bluish white light. It stands out more than the standard white or yellow. I really can't speak on how much brighter if any that the 5000k is over the 8000k, but the 8000k is definitely brighter than my PIAA light was. Plus, maybe people will notice me more readily.

I have a PIAA super plasma GT-X bulb in my headlight now...been running it for about 10000 miles so far with no issues (It even survived the accident that totaled my 04). It's brighter than stock, but I still think I'm gonna go with HID soon. Way too many deer and cage drivers with the IQ of a deer around here....

100 watt high beam, 80 watt low beam, and legal on a bike. I've been running them since the bike was new, about 14k. First one burned out at about 10k. No problems with the plastic lens or reflector.
