Default Happy '07 Meanie SE

My first mod to my bike is the memphis shade's alley cat windshield with the black gradient color. I can finally ride the freeways a little more comfortably without getting beat up by the wind.

I had some slanted cruiser jumbo Saddleman bags on order, but they've been delayed for about 3 months by Saddleman. I gave up, and from newenough.com, i have a Rapid Transit Platoon tail bag coming to suffice for day trips.

It's been pretty hard to find mods that work for the '07 Meanie SE due to its color, but i'm holding out to upgrade the pipes until next year. Maybe more selection...... On this forum and youtube.com, i'm eyeing the Bub Jug Huggers for the Meanie. The local shop i go to, Monroe Kawasaki (WA), has an outfit that can strip the chrome and repaint in black. Anyone have any suggestions or input for an exhaust that's on an '07 Meanie SE?

Pics of course:

The meanie has such a sporty and cool look, its hard to find after market stuff...
That said, the 2 tone wind shield looks nice especially from the driver view with the gages. Keep your hunt up and I'm sure you'll find something for the exhaust.

Look at the Muzzy, thats what I have on my 2003 meany. I really hated the ugly catalytic converter stock exhaust, killed the sound and adds too much extra weight. The stock exhaust is too restrictive with the ugly can in front of the rear wheel.

I love mine too.

FYI Kitana, I have an 07meanie as well and I love the jughuggers. If you are willing to wait a while for them, bubs will sell you a set "Raw" after fabrication before they send em to the chromer. They come totally prepped for coating and it will save you some money both on the pipes and on chrome stripping. I was in a time crunch and had to paint mine with high heat spray paint but I will get them refinished properly after the riding season is over; in any event, the tips came chromed so I left em like that - I think it looks killer.

Guitar,
Sweet Ride! Whats up with the orange/tan grip thingy on the throttle side? Some kind of throttle boss gadget?

No its an aftermarket grip. The left side grip got toasted in the accident so the dealership was only able to salvage the throttle side. They put a stock grip on the left and I've yet to decide what I'm gonna do .

Kitana7979...what can I say. You have amazing taste in bikes! The Juggies are top of my personal shopping list. Need a little extra Cash-O-La first if ya know what I mean. I plan on having them done up in black. Just need to buy em first. If Guitar goes to his garage and his pipes are missing...well...don't look in my garage. I didn't do it!
