I've searched the forums and can't find the answer I am looking for. Anyone with a 900 Custom that has totally removed the whole license plate, light, blinker thing hanging off the back end of the bike? I am thinking I want to remove it and install a vertical mounted, led lighted license plate, and install some bullet blinkers. I am not sure where or how I will install the blinkers as the rear fender seems to flimsy to only bolt it to that. I have thought that I could install a metal backing plate inside the fender to increase strength. Or I could fabricate something that attaches to the metal fender brackets.
Anyone with experience in this and anyone with photos of such a modification. Or even anyone with an opinion, except someone telling me I am an idiot for changing anything on my bike. Thanks, tomslusher

Whoaaa, that is even better than I wanted. Where are the blinker lights? Are they in the brake light? And how does that work and where did you get it? If only it was black because I heard black is faster!!
And did you remove the belt guard too? thanks, tomslusher

There was another post on here earlier about a rear fender mod. I'd be interested in doing this one, for sure...if it fits:
