    Default Mustang Sissy Bar Pad?

Finally decided to order the V&H pipes since they're on a pretty good sale at Phat. Want to order a larger sissy bar pad for the wife (even though she picked out this one and doesn't like it now). Have the Cobra short sissy bar on the bike with the small pad and really want to go with the Mustang Contour. The description says that they come with chrome screws and fit the square stock sissy bar. The Cobra bar is square, so I assume (and I hate to do that) the Mustang will fit it. Does anyone know for sure about them...any thoughts and ideas appreciated. Going to try to order with the pipes over the weekend and I hate to blow $99 on a pad that won't work.
    Thanks
    Charles

I just bought my mustang seat to replace my stock seat and bought the sissy bar pad to replace the pad on the back of my cobra tall sissy bar pad... I am assuming they are the same. It doesn't fit /cry

The cobra has 3 screws and the stock vulcan 1600 classic has 4 screws... Sucks to be me... lucky for you! If your seat has 4 screws then it should be ok... but it is made to directly replace the Vulcan stock sissy bar ... not the Cobra... Glad my mistake could help someone.

Thanks for the reply. Yep, mine has 3 screws as well. Sorry that it didn't work out for you, and I really appreciate the reply. Guess I'll have to look elsewhere for a larger backrest.....

Go to the mustang site and email them. I have emailed questions to them 3-4 times and always get a response withing 24 hours. They are great to work with.

I had a Cobra mini back rest and replaced it with a tall Cobra back rest and put the Mustang back rest on it. Works and looks great.

Went ahead and ordered the Cobra Jumbo Freedom pad instead. Also got the Vance & Hines Longshots ordered.... My wife will like the larger pad and I know the neighbors are gonna luv the pipes
