BTW, the install for this is quite easy. Tach works great, although compared to a car tach, the action of the needle is definitely dampened (it doesn't react as quickly to changes in engine speed).
Where the wire hooks to the coil, was there an adapter that hooked the tach wire to 2 places on the coil? Or, did you just hook the wire from the tach to 1 place on the coil? I would have private messaged you but it says you arent accepting private messages.

No problem with posting the question. That way everyone gets the benefit of the answer.

You only have to attach the tach wire to one place on the coil, and the Cobra Tach comes with the wire tap, and connector for the tap. You can see a picture of it I posted in this thread:

That is really neat. I saw a couple people on here that changed their speedo to blue... that would look SWEET with the Cobra Tach in Blue! I might do that and correct the fuel needle while I'm at it. Thanks for all of the helpful information.
