Thanks..........

you should be able to adjust just by lifting the jack and removing that bolt. The hole in the middle is the 3" setting.

I have it in the top hole not the middle...........the bike looks like its all the way down tho compared to others pictures that have it lowered three inches.........
do you have a pic of the rear fender compared to the rear wheel?

I think you're on the right setting. 3" you would be tuckin more tire.
I'm guessing that since you lowered the bike in the rear, the pipes are more at angle slopping down. The bottom pipe on your VH pipes extends futher then the stock pipes, thus making it actually lower to the ground now that you changed the angle of the bike.
just a guess.

yeah, im screwed........i moved it to the 1" setting and it still hits the pipes (its a little better)............now im gonna have to do it all over again and put it back to stock..............![]()
yea.. that or change your pipes out to shorter pipes.
I felt like I gained a little more control by lowering the bike.,. almost like putting progressive rate springs on a car
Sorry to hear the kit didn't work out.

do you think i could swap it out without taking the pipes off again?
How easy is it to put this kit on? I would like to remove some of the tire gap. Thanks!

well this sucks, i have the same pipes in mind and was wanting to get the lowering kit! i dont much care for the dragsters personally and by the looks of this they may be the only ones that work with the lowering kit!![]()

anybody else have any input?
three inch setting. Don't really look that the holes as up and down to judge 1, 2 or 3 inches. Mine is three inches the top hole should be one inch and the bottom two if they are installed correctly. Is possible to flip the dog bones over and then the holes will be backwards.

Coming off a sportbike I tend to lean a little too far for the three inch setting and have scrapped the lower pipe a few times. Starting to get the hang of it though, and have not scrapped the pipes in a while. Have not decided to go up to two inches or leave it at three.
actually lowered, it rides just like stock (you have a lower gravity which makes cornering a little easier), the crappy ride has more to do with your shock adjustment, not the profile stance of the bike.
back in the ol' days when you heated up the coil springs on your mini truck and had 7 of your fat friends jump on it to lower it: that rode like crap.
