+1 on the Longshots. Engine and transmission noise always sounded normal to me. As long as I have the extended warranty still in effect...I try not to worry about it and just enjoy the ride.

Hope you can get your bike fixed that way you want it. I am still waiting for my bike to be delivered back home for my 15K maint. (It took so long, because they scratched the rear valve cover and ordered a new one )

Regards.

Tell me about it. I waited 5 months only to get the wrong part, they said they were sorry.

I am so glad I bought Yamaha this time, I will never buy a Kawasaki product again no matter how good it is. They really neet to get up to the plate like the rest of the Japaneese makers have.

I agree. I waited three months for a sissy bar. That is par for the course. Plus, their dealer network stinks. I'll never buy another Kawasaki motorcycle or part from them again. And it's too bad, because I do like the bikes.

I like Kawasaki!!! I think they make great bikes for a reasonable price. If only they knew how many owners they were turning off by this problem!!!!!!

The problem is that motorcycles is such a small part of kawasaki's global business, that it would be inconsequential.

Sounds like you've got a very good and honest dealership. Keep giving them your business!

Yep the bikes are good, but they lost a sale when I went to Yamaha. Too bad, but all in all they are not the best at what they do....

Ya Cheri, any Avatars you wanna post, like maybe an imitation of the Biker girl from Vanishing Point? I mean, I tried posing like that once, but my camera went black, and the police came and my dog ran away from home for 3 days. I'm sure you'd have better luck.

Ah, just smile and click, ya can't go wrong.
