Thx.

I don't think I've had the needle to 9K yet. That's about where the power really starts.

Congrats on your new bike. It is beauty. I happen to like power standards as well. The new Bandit 1250 is not bad.

1402cc Air / oil cooled engine
125nm / 96 ftlbs of torque @ 5000rpm
Fuel injected
6 piston front brakes
46mm inner front fork tubes
22 litre fuel tank
224 kg dry weight
extremely comfy two up
120 front tyre / 190 rear tyre BT020 Bridgestone
it responds very well to modd's & is $12990.00 AUD australian dollars
Plain fact of matter is that naked bikes just don't sell that well in the states. The ZRX1200 is gone, the Z1000 sales are very poor and Suzuki opted for the faired version of the 1250 Bandit...

Please...spare us the facts. Who are you...Cliff Clavin? We're too busy worshipping naked bikes to be bothered with facts please go away.

I'm almost glad they don't sell it here, I can't really afford another bike right now and I'd want one really bad if they did.

Here's a couple of new (revised versions of existing models actually) naked bikes that I wouldn't mind owning.

Suzuki B-King ABS

V-Max Concept Bike

I like the B-King too. I sat on one and it has a relaxed riding position. There is one at a local dealer that has Two Brothers pipes on it. The stock pipes are hideous.

I can't imagine HD being afraid of this one and blocking it. Suzi already has the 1250 Bandit (which I'd love to have), but I don't think sales are all that strong with it. naked doesn't sell all that great here. depending on price points, I'd take the faired 1250 over this one. But then again, I don't have a choice.
