Raised License Plate 900 Custom

I recently sawed off the bottom portion of the plate holder and raised it a few inches. I bought a Raidantz LED license plate and installed that. It is much brighter than the stock plate light. Originally I thought about a side mounted plate but in my opinion the 900C looks a little awkward without something hanging over that back area so instead I went with the cleaned up version of the stock plate.

Looks good heres how i did mine. I mounted a bulb up underneath the fender that illuminates the plate at night.

Did you mount it using the holes for the stock license light? I was looking at mine over the weekend, and it looked like there was a big cutout in that part of the fender that had rubber grommets in it....

All I did was saw the plastic off (literally, with a hacksaw). I sawed it off just above the red reflector on the stock setup (right on the crease). Then I removed the stock plate light and used the two holes with the rubber pieces to mount the stock plate holder up higher. Lastly I used the wiring from the stock license plate bulb to power my LED license plate.

That is too cool looking. I see the next inexpensive mod I want to do. Very clean looking, and shows more of the tire.
