When it was "just" a donation to the forum in the winner's name, the honor system was great.

This is for moolah!

For 98% of us, the honor system would work. Problem is, one of the 2% would be the winner.

Rich, I won't envy anyone who has a better opportunity to ride than me.

That's kind of true.... with the speedo healers we have, we could "rig" our bikes to record more than what we really ride. In fact, I'm at a slight disadvantage with mine calibrated to real speed. So, the honor system is still in play here, to a point.

You know what sucks. Since installing the scootworks pulley my ODO registers low as compared to the GPS...LOL I am in it for the fun. I have no chance this year. I am gutting a house I just bought and have only had the bike out once. About 150 miles so far for the year.

Mine ODO is really strange. I have checked it twice and it is spot on but my speedometer is off by 10%. I have decided to just use my GPS as a speedometer and keep my ODO where it is.

My speedo reads about 8.5% high based on my GPS tracking. My plan is to get a SpeedoHealer to correct it:

Cal-Sportbike >>> Speedo Healer, Pipercross Air Filters, Galfer Brakes, Gear Indicator Pro, Elka Suspension.

HealTech Electronics Ltd. - Makers of the GIpro/ATRE and SpeedoHealer

It seems like a pretty cool gadget and the latest model was just released.

is the speedometer correction electronic... cause (not trying to sell them cause it is not for motorcycles YET) but here is my invention for trucks

Merlin Controls Electronic Control Systems / FMDK Home Page

look under truck enthusiast products or go here Speed Wizard Speedometer Correction

i wonder i wonder... doubt many motorcycle guys would pay 200 bux anyway

but you never know

Well where to start.... MY speedo face was adjusted by 3 percent when it was made to help offset the factory error. The Odometer was accurate. But when I installed the overdrive pulley it changed both to where my speedo now reads slow and my ODO reads low. No big deal as far as I am concerned. I run a GPS most of the time.

Nobody.

The Speedo Healer and YellowBox are only $100

Yes, the correction is 100% electronic. The new version of the speedo healer can REALLY "mess" with the readings, but the original version can still do a 99% +/- correction.
