Default VN800 owners: Taillights, Bag brackets, sissy bar

Hi all..

my father has a 2005 VN800 classic

Its a wonderful bike.

We just ordered a corbin gunfighter and lady saddle for him (its a 2 up seat)

We just got some saddle bags for that bike too... now here comes the questions:

1. Scoot works EZ Brackets, has anybody used these and how are they

With the saddlebags and brackets.

2. Is the turn signal in the way, what have you other VN800 drivers used to reloate your tail lights?

thanks all., kenny

i havn't used the brackets yet but as for turn signals and re locating them i have made my own brackets. and then now i am using LED's and my own custom bracket to go along with it. what kind of saddle bags did he get? the brackets cant be that hard to install. thats my guess just from the looks of em.

EZ brackets are awesome. Best bet for turn signal relocation it to install the 1500 turn signal bar. I don't have great pics of it but tis can give you some idea:

The best... easiest, least expensive, most available brackets to relocate can be found at almost any bike shop in the section where they sell aftermarket lights for sport bikes. The bracket mounts your stock signal stalks on the license plate bracket. Very neat and cost about $12. I bought mine at Cycle Gear.
Easy Brackets stick out too far IMHO. I had them and took them off! Hard mount the bags right to the fender supports. Remove screws, one side at a time, drill holes in the bag, use a large fender washer at bolt head and screw 'em on. Easy on, easy off and looks great.
