So I took apart the switch housings on my handlebars to paint them. I was sort of braindead that day, because while I left everything to one side, I figured I could remember how everything went back together without taking pictures.
Now I have two bags full of miniscule parts, and it's really quite a puzzle figuring out which way they go back together. Anyone brave/stupid enough to have done this before and escaped with documentation/photographs of how they are assembled/go back together? Thanks! I'll be posting this everywhere I can.

Kawasaki Motorcycles, ATV, Jet Ski Watercraft, Utility Vehicles, Recreational Utility Vehicles has exploded parts lists of pretty much the whole bike. You can look up yours and at least get an idea of where it might go.
Below is the exploded view on my 2002 Meenie 1500... https://www.kawasakiepc.com/SSIConve...53929_8134.png Good luck...

I suppose I forgot to mention, that the fichefinders available, even the Kawasaki one, do not include the internal components of the switch housings. I'm referring to the ones on the handlebars with the horn/turn signal/ignition buttons.
It's all sold as one unit on the microfiche, so there is no exploded view. Any other ideas?

I missed it somewhere along the way but what exactly is your bike? I have a switch assembly that is on an old frame ('90 1500) that I would have no problem taking apart and shooting pics if it's the same as yours...

I've got a 2007 mean streak 1600.
I am sure the switch housings can't be that different. I would fall in love with you if you'd photographically document what the heck is going on inside there. I am mostly concerned about the left side. there's a tiny ball and a spring that i can't find a home for.
