Rode in my first poker run today. It was a lot of fun. It was put together by a local bike shop and Humane Society to benefit the animal shelter. We had about 50 or so riders. I saw two Nomads, a couple of 1500 Drifters and one other 800A.

so, what kind of hand did you piece together?
I got in a 40 miler with my son on the back. A bit cool but well worth the effort.

It sounds like this is the place to check in to see how much fun we all had today!
I was able to try out my new Mustang seat and Metzler tires on a 100 mile ride. It was chilly but man was it awesome to be on the highway again! I posted my first impressions of both in the Cruiser section for anyone interested. Thank you "Attitude Adjuster" for a pleasant day today! |

We drew all 5 cards at the last stop. I held the winning hand, 2 of a kind, until the last 6 riders drawed, and I was then beat out by 3 aces.

I'm getting ready to head out for a ride in a few minutes (just thought I'd check the board first). Got my new windshield on Friday, so now I'm ready to roll.

It's 83 here and I can't ride until my wife gets home (she's been out of town this weekend). Since the boys are too young to leave at home by themselves, I've just been able to tinker around a bit. That was beneficial tho' - got to know my bike a little better.

Sorry, David. I didn't see you; I was too busy watching the road as we drove through the twisties.
What are you doing in Denver? How long are you going to be here?

won't be such a large plan, only a 757. Yesterday's ride to Denver was on a very spacious 777...ohhhh la la
