Ordered Mustang seat and tank today

I finally went and ordered the parts I had just been procrastinating on for so long. A Mustang seat http://www.mustangseats.com/kawasaki...eak_75851.html and a primered fuel tank from Kawi http://www.kawasaki.com/KawasakiNew/...CategoryID=142 . I got the primered tank because I am going to get front and rear fenders from LowandMean.com: Custom METRIC Cruiser Parts! soon, and will just get them painted to match. Finally can get rid of those tank dents!!! Can't wait to feel that seat on my tushi!!

I guess since I got no replies that no one gives a poop. Anyway, I got my seat and tank today. Seat looks awesome, feels great. Tank...friggin' dented!!! Can't believe it. Just a small dent on the right side, but I didn't order a dented tank so I am sending it back tomorrow.

Nice looking seat. Have you had any riding time on it yet? A dent in the new tank is not cool.

I haven't ridden on it yet, weather permitting I will put 100 or so miles on it tomorrow. It looks amazing though, and the thing I really like is that it goes to solo with one bolt. Very heavy, durable feeling seat, and excellent detailing and stitchwork.

As far as the tank, I'm in no rush because it will be a while before I am able to get it painted, but still hate dealing with returns. Looks to me like the box was dinged on that side, that might have been what did it. Had stryofoam packing front and back, but none on sides. Only took a week to get, so I will have it back soon.

Youll love that mustang seat. That and my jardine forward controls are probably the best mods I've done so far.

Btw, since I ride with my mustang seat in the solo configuration, you just inspired me to order the rear fender bib I've been looking at for so long!
