OK. Back from an ALL DAY ride WITH the wife on the back. Both of us agree. We are much happier with the Gel. Not saying the Mustang is bad. In fact I enjoyed it, I just didn't like my position for how I ride.

So between the 2 we both like the Gel. I also have phatrisers, so the combination is probably what is working so well for me. I can lay back a bit more on the bike and really enjoy that.

I've had a few dozen emails sent to me requesting I let them know when I decided to sell and how much.

Mustang Motorcycle Products, Inc. - Kawasaki Vulcan 900 2006-up & Custom 2007-08 76127 is the seat I'm going to sell. I probably have 1000 miles on the seat and it's like new. No marks or scuffs. It's $439 new, so is $330 used + shipping to wherever a bad price? I have the original box and packing still as well. I'd respond to the emails, but honestly there are a LOT of them in my box.

OK, that's it for me.

Jason

I am looking to buy the Kawasaki Gel seat and I thank you for this review - esp. with reference to your passenger!
My wife would love to ride, but the stock seat is just too hard on her (awesome) derriere. The roads here in South Africa are getting really bumpy, so does the gel seat allow for longer/extended passenger comfort?
I was also looking for a solo seat, but I will cut the stock seat down to solo once I get the gel.

Great information on the seats.

Where did you all get your Kawi Gel seats from, for how much and how long did it take to get it? I have to get rid of my stock seat for my 900. In fact, my wife wants me to replace it with a gel seat before a Saturday charity ride (after a 65-mile ride yesterday). She is allowing me to give it to her for Mother's Day.
