Had my v2k from new 2005. parts only just becoming available over here now though, and have been looking for a wider wheel conversion for the last couple of years. Does anyone know what is the widest rim i can put on without changing the swingarm?

There's a company called Britt Motorsports or something, ImpactG may know, but I think they have a kit to put something like a 250 rear tire and wider wheel than stock. It looks wicked. I don't think they had to change the swingarm.

I believe you can put an 8.5" rim with a 260 with no mods. I think this is what Btob (Jay) did...

I'm not sure where he got his rims...

... I'm not much help here, am I?

Britt Motorsports is in Wilmington NC, they actually will not install a 240 on the stock rim as they say it "pinches" the tire. I think they are trying to sell their wide tire kit.

I am seriously considering the 240 metz at my impending tire swap, I wish they had a properly sized front.

Thanks, Chris

I wonder how much the 240 tire will help with the speedometer inaccuracy, if it helps at all... Has anyone tested this against a GPS by chance?

I'm still off by about 10% even with the 240 rear. I checked it with a GPS a few times.
