Like I said, it a is a backpack that has a pocket on the backside of the bag that allows you to slip it over your sissy bar. The en there are some straps to tighten up things to keep it from coming off. I did tie the backpack shoulder straps back out of the way so they wouldn't interfere with the backrest pad for the rider. It does have a thick carry handle on the frontside of the bag as well as a zipper pocket for putting in a hydration pouch. There is a little clip on one of the shoulder straps for clipping the hydration mouth tube into.I hope you'll be able to see all that in the pics. It was $29 at Walmart.
Thanks for the reply. However I can't see the pics on either of your posts that were supposed to have them. Maybe somthings wrong with my puter. I'll check back later.

Look at the post again. I accidentally deleted all of my uploaded pics so I've gone back to that post and re-loaded them. Sorry about that!

Glad you enjoyed your trip. The pic of the munchkin on the back of your bike hanging on for dear life is awesome! She's a troooper! You should get her a pin or a match to commemorate her first road trip since a tattoo might be out of the question.

More than likely you are aware of this, but others might like hearing about it. Neil Peart, the drummer and lyricist of Rush, wrote a book about a motorcycle trip he took across the US and Canada. I won't give away any of the details, but it's well worth reading. It's called Ghostrider.

He's written some other books, including one about a car trip he took across America.

Dep,

Yes both my son and daughter are troopers for each riding 400 miles in one day! Have to figure out something to give them.

Yes I'm aware of Peart's book and have already read it. It's very good and he's a pretty good author. I do have his next book but haven't got around to reading it yet. He always travels between venues by motorcycle when on tour and makes at least a monthly entry on his website about his travels by bike. Very interesting and informative. I think I remember reading somewhere he has over 200,000 miles riding but don't quote me on that. Pretty cool guy!

Hell yes! 400 miles in a day is most impressive. My hat is off to them!

And I see that I wrote get them a "match" when I meant patch. Even I know you shouldn't give kids matches.
