Default Cheriann and Chaz - How are you guys?

According to the news, Southern Maryland got about 7" of rain from Sunday to Monday and there's been a lot of flooding. I hope everything is fine and you came through without any major problems.

I live in the Washington/Baltimore corridor, and we got about 4.5", but no significant flooding. Upper Marlboro on the other hand was under about 4 feet of water based on the news reports I saw.

They are supposed to be down at MBBW, but I'm not sure when they left.

+1, but the important stuff is with them....

Seriously, it sucks coming home from vacation to a home disaster. I came home from a family trip to disney to frozen pipes, frozen toilets, and a major pipe purst upon thawing which meant tearing out sheetrock......

I was in the house for only 2 months at the time. What a way to start a 30+ year relationship....

Well, if they left Friday morning at least they didn't have to drive/ride through the storm. And hopefully all will be well upon their return. In 1998 I came home from a 3 day labor day weekend getaway to find a pipe in the upstairs bathroom had cracked, and water was dripping from the downstairs ceiling. It took 2 months and about 6k to get back to normal. Luckily, insurance paid the bulk of the costs.

Cheri said she would take the laptop, but seriously... bike week at Myrtle Beach..... We'd have to yell at her for logging on instead of going out and having fun.

Agree with that. But the mean side of me would be posting pics of the beach, saying, "Neener, Neener!"
