never used a mitivac on the bike, but used it on cars lots of times. you hook one hose from the mitivac to the container that came with it and another hose from the container to the bleeder. The one to the bleeder is the one with the straw to the bottom of the container. Pump the mitivac till the guage is showing vacuum (as much as you can get) crack the bleeder valve, brake fluid will flow into the container. Close the bleeder BEFORE vacuum reaches 0 . Repeat till all the air is out of the system. BE SURE NOT TO LET THE MASTER CYLINDER GET LOW ENOUGH TO SUCK AIR IN OR YOU WILL HAVE TO START OVER.
Not that it matters to the bike but I have encountered one car that the key needed to be in the run position because of electronic ABS for the mitivac to work. |

Never used one, but prob hook it up and make sure your fluid is full and loosen the nipple and suck away, tighten the nipple before fluid gets too low.
If you are clearing the lines you will have to top off the fluid several times. Hope this helps. |
