Like I said. I will most likely be in San Dimas, so I will be coming down the 57. I can meet off the 5 somewhere.

We took PCH into Dana Point to Del Obispo, then cut over across the 5 on Del Obispo where it turns into Ortega, took that to LaPata/Antonio, from there to Santa Margarita, a quick jog to Trabuco, then down Live Oak to Cook's Corner.
Yahoo! Maps, Driving Directions, and Traffic

The lunch rides in San Diego, we slabbed the 5 to Oceanside, then took PCH from there along the coast down to Old Town on one, and Seaport Village on the other.
Both rides, we brought the 15 back up into Elsinore, then over Ortega back to Antonio and on to Cook's.

A little short though, especially for the distances that some of the guys are riding to get there, and if there's more than 4 or 5 in the group, the signals on Beach Blvd are pure torture for the ride leader.

Same for Phat. The showroom is big enough for a fair number of guys, but other than the displays (including a Big Bear Custom and a sweet custom Roadstar), the entire showroom inventory could be paid for with the paycheck of a McDonalds employee

Both places are primarily e-businesses and are more warehouse than walk-in-and-buy-stuff shops... and they aren't going to let you into the warehouse.
New MT shop is still pretty small. Nothing to see there...as Rich sez, primarily e-store.

Living in HB, I have to agree with Rich, the ride down PCH from this end just is too short and too many lights (at least between beach blvd and crystal cove). Malibu area was a good suggestion I thought, or if the weather forecast is decent, palm to pines/idylwild perhaps (although long one for those from the northern area).

Palms to Pines is an awesome ride.
Weather should be good... forecasting 80 here in Chino, so the mountain will be very nice, and Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage shouldn't be over 95.

No route as of yet, but we have been toying with Neptune's Net in Malibu as an end location to feed & water ourselves. Nothing set in stone yet though, so open to suggestions. No problem doing something 'tweeners: VenCo to The OC, but you guys would have to come up with a place since it's been a while since I've been on that side of the hill.

We'll keep our options open... and come up with a plan for the masses!

Also posted same ride request on LAVROC, Stinky Finger and KawaNOW.

Best,
Daryl
Hey Daryl, I can't make it, here is a suggestion,
angeles crest to newcombs ranch, back to upper big tujunga over to palmdale, then up to wrightwood, continue east on 138 to crestline, then up to lake arrowhead and up to big bear, then down the 38 hwy back in to redllands. i did it two weekends ago, it is a really nice ride, weather could be cool up in the high altitudes, but otherwise it should be a nice sunny weekend.

Jesus.

If you'll be coming off the 57 to 5, how about you join my better half and I going to Julian? We can meet at the east side Chevron station at Ortega/5...somewhere around 0930 perhaps?

I'm tired of waiting, its too difficult to get so many different locations to choose one ride (or so it appears).
