What a great feeling it was when I just bought my 1982 Kawasaki Spectre and found that when I turn the key to the on position, there are no lights come on. I thought, OK I need a new battery. NOT! After putting a new battery in, I turned the key and presto the neutral light, and other lights came on. So I turne off the key to put the side covers on and back to square one. Now I have no power at all when I turn the key to the on position. The wierd thing is that the turn signals work but nothing else. I do not get it, what am I missing. I took the switch out and it checks out fine. Is this a common problem, or do I have a piece of junk? Any advice would be appreciated. I am not knowledgeable enough to trouble shoot myself and do not want to start hanging parts for fun. Thanks fella, I hope you can help.
Ciao,
Winkman
