Wow, the ride into work this morning was FOGGY! I wear a Scorpion Exo 700, the face mask didn't fog up at all, but I had problems with the fog condensing on the face shield, resulting in decreased vision between wiping it off with mmy hand.
So here's a quick question: Anyone have any solutions for keeping the fog from collecting on the face shield? I was thinking Rain-x might be a solution, but I'm afraid it might cause damage. Same for a windshield that I'm going to purchase (eventually) - Rain-x a good solution? Tom

Rain-X should work well on your windshield.
I use an eye-glasses cleaner/anti-fogger for my helmet shield which works well for me. .

I heard that if you wipe a dryer sheet over a clean faceshield, it should help. I have never tried it because I didn't have a problem with fogging in the first place. However, I also don't know if it was meant to stop fogging up the inside or reduce oustide fog from condensing on your helmet. When I wake and its foggy out side, I just wear different gloves that are more absorbent for wiping the faceshield off.

Riding in the fog is always very tricky. My windshield is the only one that fogs up and not my FF faceshield. Just run your gloves across your top line of sight on your windshield for better road vision and take it nice and easy riding.
FYI, if it is foggy out there....I don't ride at all or wait until the fog dissipates.

I've used Rain-X on my visors before and I dont like it, especially in fog. The problem with Rain-X in the fog, is that it leaves incredibly tiny drops on the visor and they're too small to be blown off meaning you'll be wiping your visor every 10-20 seconds. This can get very annoying IMO.
Rain-X is a little better in heavier rain since the drops slide off easier but its still not to my liking. I've gone back to using nothing on my visors.
