Default A 900 Custom Bagger, lol.....

Not the look I like but I'm hitting the road in the morning for the weekend and loaded all of the storage I have. Saddlebags, tool bag and my $4.00 tour pack (cooler). When I bolted my bags on, I saved time by not installing the strut trim....that made it alot easier.

Don't know where I'm going but I am taking my camera. I promise to post pics! The high temp is going to be 83-85 this weekend which is perfect riding weather in my book.

Yeah, not the grandest of tours but hey, I'm riding a Custom!

I went all out. Bought the ghost brackets and cheap set of throw overs. I cut the middle part out and bolted them to the brackets. I need bags most of the time but I like the clean look of no bags. Now taking them off or putting them on takes 30 seconds.

That's about like what I did except I just made my brackets. I think my bags were around $40.00 on eBay. Takes me about 5 minutes to bolt mine on but I don't use them that often.

Pred.... how are these bags working out by now? I'm planning a huge trip for next summer... texas to michigan to the big utah pgr gathering... I'll need quite a bit of capacity and hoping I can mount something like this plus a huge duffle over the top. Don't want to spend a lot of money because this is probably my only long trip on this bike.

The bags are great when I use them. I've had them loaded....I mean really loaded and they held up well. I really should leave them on for the convenience, but I just don't like the looks.

If I had a Classic I would go with hard bags and never take them off. Maybe I'll trade for a Classic someday
