Jeff... Get to work!
I take it that worked out for you
The more I thought about it, that 170 main jet is probably closer to what you needed with the DNO313 needle than the 165 would have been. Still recommending a 165 main jet for the DNO106 though.

You should be getting better gas mileage as well... once you get used to the extra power and stop twisting the wick so much

You're next Jeff

Before I can calculate gas mileage, I guess I'd need to get a +8" speedo cable

I was too cheap to get it when I got the throttle and clutch cables.

That ride started out in North Vernon at SR7 and SR3. Took 7 to US31 to SR58 West to 446 North to SR46 East back home to Columbus.

SR 58 and SR 446 are awesome and pretty twisty. SR 45 from Bloomington to Nashville is VERY twisty and was re-paved a couple years ago. 135 is a favorite, (especially between Nashville and Beanblossom) and one of the best motorcycle roads anywhere. I don't remember the roads right now, but down around West Baden/French Lick there are some really nice twistys with hills and really cool scenery. The Dome in West Baden is a must see.

All depends on what you are buying.. Pieces parts for a DIY project can be any of your local hardware/electronic stores.

Specific parts for the bike, like alternater, battery, wiring harness, ect... most likely will be eBay if you are not in a hurry and do your homework.

What is it that you are looking to get??

Joram, did you get around to re-jetting your bike yet? Just curious.

And if you go eBay, check with Joram first! He's our resident eBay finder-expert...

Not yet! My parents leave from Florida with the stuff on the 23rd, and I'll be away on training from the 19th 'til May 1st... That reminds me though, I should start looking for the Dynojet kit...

So I'm taking needle advice from a guy that puts them on upside down, takes his carb off five times a week, puts washers on top instead of on the bottom and runs like crap for a month?!

Wow, when you put it like that, I realize I have all the trial and error experience anyone could ask for... I guess I have more experience with carbs now than I thought. Thanks Jeff!!!
