Well, if you are getting rid of them, sure I'll take em. I could use a couple more to put on my saddle bags to match the seat.

Took the Vulcan out yesterday for the first time since the end of the summer and it ran great. Thank you all for all your help. I also finally got the Manual...its a real nice hard cover book and should really help me out a lot and save me some money on easy adjustments and maintenance.
George I cant wait for consistent warm weather around here.. |

Joram is your guy for the eBay searches! I usually stick to eBay.ca because there are a lot of things that won't ship to Canada, and I eliminate those from my searches by sticking to the .ca side...

This is an awesome deal, if you get it for this price (it's at $10 right now):
Hub Cover It looks great and is easy to install, and I think I paid $60 for mine. Sorry I don't have any pics of it installed, but it REALLY dresses up the front wheel from the crap looking hub that is on there... I get a lot of compliments on it. It's probably more suited to the Classic than the A, because of the chunky front wheel and forks... Just thought I'd share!

Dang it, I didn't say speak it to me. Does everyone up there have to speak both to be able to get by in day-to-day life, or is one or the other enough?

Every time I search for Mustang seats on ebay I just get the ones in the ebay stores. Just gotta look when there's one up for bid I guess.
Loco will be just fine. My name's Jeff, but I think that will just complicate things. |

Nah, you can get along just fine in English. In Eastern Ontario, it's a definite benefit, and I'm in Ottawa... walking distance to Quebec, and in the land of the Federal Government, where everyone is required to be bilingual. I went to all-French school until High School just for the benefit, but it's never been a requirement for me, but nice to be able to put on a resume if need be. My Mother is French, my Dad half French, but a completely English speaking family. Quebec is of course hard-core... one of the "fun" things they have is Language Police that enforce rules like any business signage HAS to be predominantly French, French first on the signs, and in bigger lettering. They are constantly trying to enforce their "distinct society" status. Other than them, New Brunswick is quite French as well, but the other Eastern Provinces are much less so, and out West... well, ask trikebubble the same question you asked me! The most direct answer to your question: I don't remember the last time I actually NEEDED it. It's nice to help bridge the gap if someone struggles with English, but that's very rare and I'll only use French if they have a harder time in English than I do in French! I find I struggle to talk bikes in French, because a lot of the parts and lingo is referred to with words I don't know or speak every day. That's not uncommon either, to just use the English word when you don't know or feel like using the French one! Like: "I'll have a hot dog and a Coke, with mustard and relish" is usually "Je vais prendre un Hot Dog et un Coke, avec du moutarde et du relish!" And what I said above, "Oui, c'il faut. Est-ce que il y a quelque chose que je peut vous aidez avec?" literally translated, means, "Yes, if I have to. Is there something I can help you with?"
