Just bought an 05 drifter with a solo seat. Would love to find a two up or know the best way to add a passenger seat!

Thanks!

not too many Drifter owners cruise this thread, but we do have quite a few Drifter owners on the forum. post a thread in the cruiser section and ask your question, you should get some responses.

i am having a brain cramp on where i bought mine, but do a search for Barnett as they are the company that makes the Gorilla clutch.

edit : i bought mine from Scootworks. small company, VERY good to deal with.

The clutch spring gets weak. It's actually a round disk. Mine started slipping around 19K but was totaled before I was able to replace it. There are quite a few threads about replacement. Fairly straight forward but requires an impact wrench to remove the bolt (130# torque). There's nio need to replace the clutch disks, but since it will be partially apart, you might as well upgrade.

My 06 clunks also. The gears are straight cut vs. angled which probably makes for more noise. Mine sounds like an old truck going into gear. A nice SOLID manly sound.

right around 4 quarts i believe. start with 3 1/2 and go from there, and that is as long as you changed the filter too.

iv the same prob too, its not the blinker (lift the seat its a small box on the clutch side of the bike just under the battery box) its actually a bad earth which was fixed by a mate, dont know where its earthed to...

I called a local shop here and had them look it up for me. 3.3 quarts or 3.12L So I put in 3.1L and prefilled the oil filter. Now I'm running full synthetic and she purrs like a kitten.

Hi everyone, I just bought a 2007 vulcan 2000 classic LT. It's a great bike, however the previous owner put a Muzzy exaust system on it and pipes are LOUD over 300 db. does anyone know where I can buy baffles for them?
I sent an email to Muzzy's, but have not heard from them yet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim.
ps. I will try to post a Pic.
