Kids in the neighborhood have minibikes. I cannot stop laughing every time I see one of those things. Literally I laugh at them until they are out of sight and then still can't stop =) I don't *really* want a minibike, but I think it is cool that people want to ride these little 50cc things. Hey at least it's a step in the right direction =P

I have recently purchased a 2005 Vulcan 2000 cc and the motor has a chripping noise around 80km/hr and up. Just wanted to know if that is unusual or common? |

welcome Phillip. I know what the posty says but you will have better luck putting this in the cruiser section. Several guys in there have the v2k. I do not but thought I should let you know where the guys were that do.

After 11451 blissful miles on my 98 Classic, I'm experiencing technical difficulties with the Battery not charging at all, AND at the same time I lost all power to the headlight, even the blue (bright)light on the dash console quit working too. Yes fuse is fine, bulb is fine, and yes I tracked the wiring for a short, neither of which was found. I even disassembled the ignition switch but no problem found there either. Anybody ever hear of this as a common problem to the Vulcan 1500 Classic?

How old is the battery?
Unfortunately not mamy people follow this thread so I'd recommend asking here: http://www.kawasakimotorcycle.org/fo...splay.php?f=14

i agree with Phatboy, i would post it in the Mechanics section, but have you taken a voltage reading on the battery ? with load and without ? maybe you have a charging problem and the battery is down to a voltage that just won't support everything. how's she start ? just some things to think about.

I just purchased a '03' 1500 mean streak. I want to add saddlebags using Easy Brackets. I was told I would need to get a "billet fender strut" that changed the 6mm bolts to 8mm. I have looked around and found an aluminum bracket number K53020-323 the replaces the stock part. Has anyone used these mounts and can tell me if this is the part I need? Thanks for the help

That sounds like a good idea. Now all I need is info on how I start my own thread. I'm very new at this and because of that, I stumble around a lot. Never mind, I think I "stumbled" on to the answer
