Hey Teamlopez1, this is weird, while ridding to work this morning I caught up with a Vision! I didn't know it at first, only had 4 lights on the back where the big "V" is and two on the trunk. Darn thing was quiet, even less noise than my stock Nomad. Are you going to get pipes? Do the handlebars adjust any on these bikes, they are a little to close to the seat for me, but they look sexxxy! BB

Hey all. I cant believe that three days has passed by. Been rding my new baby...I can say without a doubt this is the funniest machine I have ever own. This new Vision Premium is a good ride. Very comfortable for my 6'2" 245lbs frame. The bike handles like a dream and carves corners as good as any big wieght cruiser I have owned or run. I ordered a stage 1 level exahust air kit with my bike and got that in on thursday and had it installed already on friday. Man now she sounds sweet and runs even faster now. I cant say enough how much i like the bike. I cant get out of a parking lot with out a few folks hanging around the bike wanting to ask questions. Which we all love to talk about our new rides so thats cool. I did put alot of chrome on it and have more coming this week. I orderd a new victory three in one jacket today for all season riding which is very nice.
For those asking about my lovely wife Dianna she is doing great and still loves her Vulcan Classic 900LT. So with out further adooo here are more pics of my new 08 Vision. Drooling already MVI_4556.AVI videos from motorcycles videos on webshots http://inlinethumb50.webshots.com/59...425x425Q85.jpg http://inlinethumb12.webshots.com/43...425x425Q85.jpg http://inlinethumb61.webshots.com/44...425x425Q85.jpg

How's the riding position? By the pictures it looks like one heck of a reach to your bars. It might just be an optical illusion but it seems like that tank goes on for miles.
Once again, congrats on the new bike. Those are definitely growing on me, just have to get the Jetson's them song out of my head everytime I see one.

john, the reach is great. The bars ae back firther than my 06 nomad was. i had tor each just a tad more on my nomad so these are just perfect for me. The fuel tank actully wraps around in a U configiration around the frame, so most of it is up front. it does feel like you have a huge tank and distance to the dash but i like that alot.

He'll be back! You can never really leave the Vulcan! Without a Vulcan there is an empty void in a person's soul- a void that must be filled...with a Vulcan! He'll be back!!
But seriously that is a sweet bike - i haven't driven one but i sat on my friends for awhile - They are really really comfortable - Im still not sure I like the styling as well as the traditional look of say, oh i dunno, a Vulcan - but i really think these bikes grow on a person and everyone i have talked to really really like the way they handle |

Ok, lets throw out the question that everyone wants answered. If the voyager would have been sitting on a showroom floor, would that be sitting in your driveway now instead of the vision?

Teamlopez,
Thanks for the insight. From the looks of it, it seemed like one heck of a reach. At 6'2" myself, the way you describe it, it must be really nice to sit back and ride. That seat looks like a couch cushion. Have a great time riding that little work of art.

One other question. How hard has it been to get used to the fixed fairing? I know that some have said it threw them off for a while because it didn't move with them.
