Default A 200mm rear tire on a 900 Classic LT?

Has anyone had any experience running a 200mm rear tire, on a 900 Classic LT? I am probably going to go with the Metzeler ME880 and would like to go with a fatter tire on the rear, than the 180 that came from the factory. I have not changed out the pulley, so that shouldn't weigh into it. I have found postings where 900 Classic owners are running the 200, but don't know if the Classic and Classic LT is the same setup in the rear.

To the best of my knowledge, the only difference between a Classic and a Classic LT is the addition of the OEM windshield, saddle bags and sissy bar on the LT.

More to the point, Lots of 900 custom riders have gone the 200mm tire route. The geometry of the swing arm on both the classic and custom are the same IIRC.

I am going today to have the ME880 200/70/15 installed on my 06 900 Cassic LT. I can let you know if I have any problems.

    Thanks firephighter.
The dealer told me the ME880 200 will fit, but it is a radial. He said Metzeler says that radial will work on the rear, with the ME880 bias on the front. I do not know enough about tires to understand how a radial on the rear and a bias on the front will affect the bike.

Did some research and found out that the ME880 200 does come in a bias. The guy at the dealer was trying to sell me a tire he had in inventory, which happened to be a radial.
I talked with Dave at Cycle Werkz in Fort Worth and he told me you never want to mix a radial and bias tire on the same bike, which makes sense.
I don't think the guy at the dealer was trying to intentionally hose me. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt that it was just a communication error.

You won't have any issues with the 200 Metzler. I just had one installed on my classic a week ago. Put a few hundred miles on it with no issues. Looks great but I've yet to post any pics of it.

Apparently the rules have changed. A guy I work with bought a new Yamaha Raider. It has a Metzler radial in the rear and a Metzler bias up front He says it handles great and is scary fast!

The Raider is an awesome machine!
I am hoping someone will explain the theory behind mixing / not mixing radial and bias. There are some very smart people on this forum and I am sure they know.
