Default VN900 new handlebars for '09?

I did a search and did not come up any prior posts, did I miss it? I caught this comment on the online Cruiser Magazine site discussing the Kawi '09 lineup:

"is that the Vulcan 900 Classic has new handlebars with a much more comfortable reach and angle, as well as being much narrower than the old ultra-wide beach bars."

The article is on motorcycle cruiser magazine...just google it and you'll find it. Its in the article on the new 1700, about halfway down in the paragraph stating other tidbits from the show. I'll try a link:

Glad I got my 07 then. I wouldnt give up my bars for nothin'!!!
well, except the mini apes i plan this winter. but they are gonna have to be
34" or they aint goin on!!!
I actually wouldnt call the 900 bars beach bars either.
I've had several people sit on my bike and love the feel of the bars.
one actually went out and got a set of 34 inch bars.

My *guess* is, they may still have the same bars on after all.
this is from Kawasakis site:
"The wide handlebars, seat and floorboards combination offers an ideal ergonomic relationship, making for a relaxing mount" (realizing they dont call out a dimension, but do call them wide)
and in the specs, call for an overall width of 39.6 in. take the couple inches away that the
mirrors and/or levers stick out, and I think you still have a 34" bar. just my 2cents
