I have mine in my pocket and it picks up the sensor. A good place to mount it would be in your tank bib or even in the tool bag if you have one on the front of your bike.
I use my speed pass for my car and my bike, so this is why I havent mounted it anywhere. I just keep it in my cars center console and i keep it in my pocket when i ride the bike. |

Speed Pass... for the gas station? Or toll roads? Not sure if it's goes by the same name in the U.S., the Speed Pass is specific to Esso (Exxon/Mobil) in Canada...
If that's what you mean, I'm not sure I'd do that... but I'll wait until I know if that's what you are talking about!

CheriAnn gave me a link to this a little while back: JJ Cycle Pass, a new, convenient way for motorcycle riders to use electronic toll passes such as EZ Pass, M-Tag, IPASS, and Smart-Tag
She and Chaz have these, so I went and got one. WE have E-Z Pass in my area, I don't know if your transponders are the same shape or not. I cross a toll bridge every day on my way to work, so this was a good idea for me. Works perfect.

I use one of those suction cup holders in the cage and bike, on the bike it goes on the bottom of the shield, right in the middle. I put a short wire leash on it just it case it comes loose. Which has only happened once, (used quite often)

Just move to the mid-west then you don't need to worry about such stuff. I have never paid a toll to drive anywhere. I refuse too, I already pay taxes to use the road and I shouldn't have to pay to use something twice.

Not sure what you mean. I know my job is pretty secure. One of 2 people working IT in an engineering firm of 250 located in 6 different cities. If that's what you meant then yes I can.

It also depends on if they get your plate on camera. I've gone through a couple of times when I had a bad transponder. Never heard a whisper. I think my luggage rack and sissy bar bag obscure the plate enough that they can't see it on the camera. You can see it fine from directly behind though.
