I'm switching to 18s soon. The 16s are ok but since I got used to them, they don't really feel like apes. My hands are straight out in frt of me now but I want them up a little more. I thought about the "risers on the cheap" mod but I don't want to bring the bars back any.
As far as looks go, the Classic bars that I had on my bike looked the best. I had narrowed them slightly and had them turned down as far as I could get them. Apes are about feel and comfort to me. ![]()

Choppers were mostly based on those frames... owners didn't tend to mess with the FLH frames much.

We've had two people here running 12" apes who have had their clutch cable break due to the angle at the lever.

Nope. Apes cured that problem for me.

Some of the guys on the Delphi forum, have been having problems with both stock and Barnett replacement cables on the V2K.
They're now giving Motion Pro a try.

Seriously, you should be banned form posting pics of that bike. just like Trikebubbles V2K, I get weak in the knees when I see this thing.

Same here. I got a throttle lock because my hands, especially my right, would get tingly after about 30 minutes. then every 10 minutes after that. i used the lock to hang or wiggle my hand to wake it. since putting my apes on, I havent used the lock for that purpose yet.

I went +6 on the cables. I think the throttle cables could have gone +4 since they're looping higher in the air than the clutch cable is. |
