Hey, how'd you do the drum brake thing on the 900?
![]() Either black or chrome... depends on where you're going with the rest of the theme.

I like black with dark colored skins and chrome on medium to lighter colored skins. If you add other blacked out chrome I think the black pipes will look great but if you keep it as the image shows, then I like the chrome.

I think the Black looks unique, so I would go with that. But saying that, mine would still be chrome, as the more bling the better!

Thanks for the input guys, as always a diverse set of opinions (as it should be) I think I like the black for the uniquness and individualism factors, but the chorme looks pretty sweet.
Rich; as for the drum brake thing, this is a photoshoped version of a 9 and I do have the disk in the rear. drivenrhythm; As for the M-cross cover, I found a custom shop here in Az. that produces the covers for Harley's I can send you the link if interested. They have a pretty diverse selection or will do custom work if needed. Thanks again for the input!! |

As your 900 sits now, I'd go with the chrome. I like flat black, and if you plan on continuing the theme further, it could look really nice.
Impacts bike looks really nice with the black pipes. But he's also got a nice balance between black and chrome. The fact that the heat shields are chrome, and the Tornado cover is painted, helps set the bike off nicely. As Mr. Miagie would say - "Balance is key, Daniel-son."
