    ease up now!

I never said that someone "shouldn't" have ANYTHING on their bikes. I think everyone needs to put anything and everything on their bikes that they want! Why the hell should my opinion of your bike influence what you do with it!? Similarly, why the hell should your opinion of my bike influence what I do with it?

I think a lot of people missed my point here. Some got it, but a good many took offense and got all pooty about my initial post.

All I'm saying is DO YOUR OWN THING!

Jeeezus! Who am I that this thread would cause such a case of mass knicker-twist among the brethren???

    I AM the "crumple zone."

    I hate seeing cigar-smoking gorilla's on motorcycles!!

Fringe is my only thing. I'm just not into that. You should see what people are doing with the new Indians though. Apparently those things were made just for it!

Well you say "things you hate on a bike" and the things you list are on "my" bike. Basically your saying that you hate my bike. People on this forum can take that personal. There's a lot of things I hate that I just keep to myself. That's how I've stayed married for so long.

dragonfly @45. butterfly @30. the butterfly bounced off my mustache. dragonfly hit hard.

i run into mosquitoes on my knuckles all the time. feels liike needles.

i still stick by my guns: no fat chicks on bikes.

the rest is tolerable as long as there aren't leather CatONines on the bars. fast wind makes those cut! looks cool in town and on other people's scoots, but hurts like SOB.

In 1983 I had a bee hit the middle of my sunglasses and with its last dieing breath put his stinger in my right eye. Its stinger (actually the whole bee) was stuck there till I pulled over at a gas station. My eye wasn't the same for about a week. I've rode with a windshield ever since.

oh and a new thing I hate on a bike. Flat black primer paint. A seat that should be on a old John Deere and any type of rust.

You've mentioned twice now that you don't like ( as you put it ) fat chicks on bikes. I take it then that fat guys on bikes would be a no no as well? Which would cover about 60% of the guys on this forum including me.

you know what i really hate on bikes???

women... who insist on wearing clothes!!!!

how goddamn frikkin inconsiderate to all the male riders out there!!!
for god's sake woman... take off the leather jacket, leather jeans, gloves, boots and that skimpy little lacy number; and just sit there nekkid like a good girl.

...obviously Insolent Minx does not recommend women attempt to ride the big heavy piece of machinery, but if she does try, then she should put the items of clothing back on and be sure to have an ambulance on standby.

...obviously Insolent Minx is also joking, so don't go getting your politically correct feminist big cotton panties in a twist.
