Default BTK Poser Vest

Ok, I'm bored this morning so I thought I'd make a new avatar. It's a BTK MF vest....lol. Yeah it's pretty crappy but I'm no graphic artist.

Or if the grim reaper is too scary for ya....

I'm sorry, I did start chuckling there for a minute.

Maybe "MCF" would work a little better in this case.

I like the bear since it goes well with the name of the sponsor. Also, the grim reaper has a been there done that quality to it. Sometimes it seems every biker out there has some sort of skull theme going. The MF? I got it, but most people wont!

I've gotten my vests from these guys.

Motorcycle & Leather Clothing Store - Motorcycle Jackets, Helmets, Biker Boots, Leather Pants & Chaps

I've sown my own patches on using my wife's machine. One thing I've found out is you better have a second needle handy because they get dull quick on leather.

I like the idea, but I would need a Virginia bottom rocker.

Cool Idea. Actually if people made their own up or for their state they could just substitute their own state name and state animal State Animals

Not sure I could walk into a biker bar with a gray squirrel on my vest.

Umm... the location rockers are a VERY stupid idea.

Just saying... and that's all I'm going to say about it.

I agree with Rich.

I think it's a cool idea but agree with Rich regarding the location rocker. Just asking for more trouble then what it's worth IMO.

I went with the patches as shown to signify this site....just as the BTK shirts do. BTK is in Red Lodge. If ever asked, it is legit.....and not a club. Now if you change the location, then you'd may have some explaining to do. I don't want it to look like a local motorcycle club....it's not. Now a small state patch would be ok I guess. The bottom line is I'll never be in a "gang" but I would like some patches on my vest. I've been a participating member here for over a year and don't mind showing some pride.

The rockers ended up being around $30.00 shipped. If I don't like them, I won't use them. If I do, I'll most likely add a bear or something between the 2. Maybe even the Fire and Steel logo??

There is a difference between a shirt that's obviously supporting a business, and a couple of rockers on a vest signifying an organization (of any kind) and a location.

The location bottom rocker IS a territorial rocker... whether you intend it to be or not.... that's how it will be viewed, and it will not be well received.

I trust you ran this idea by Jim before actually spending money to use this method of showing your support for his business?
