I drive everyday and it's usually uneventfull, sometimes I go months with out any type of "incidents" but today was not one of those days. On my way to work a guy in a rather large truck(super sized pick up with a cab) crossed over the double solid lines of the car pool lane right into where I was with out even looking. He literally came within inches of hitting my front tire. I had to swerve and then revved my engine(my horn is broken and I have cobra pipes which work better anyways) he paused half way though his illegal move after he sees me but then continues anyways. What could I do? hold my ground??? I was rather upset and did what I normally do, gave him a dirty look through my FF helmet and then imagined different ways I would beat him up in my head. Not even 5 minutes later as I am in the exit lane to get off the 405 a guy in a mercedes merges into the exit lane where I was and forced me into the 2inch shoulder, he was extremely blantant and saw me the whole time and did it anyways. I wasn't done being mad at the first guy, in fact I was just getting started and now this guy nearly runs me off the interstate intentionally, ARGHHH!! and get this he did not even exit he just used that lane to try and pass a couple cars before getting back over.
I absolutely love riding my motorcycle and all the pros to it but make no mistake there are also cons as we all know. One of them is "they" are bigger and can bully you and at times will and there's nothing you can do and that sucks. I won't let it ruin my day though, I made to work safely. Sorry just had to rant, I do feel better now though ![]()

dang what a rough day of riding... in my earlier, less tolerant years, I have been known to help readjust there side view mirrors, seeing how they weren't using them in the first place.... now I'm a little more tolerant to idiots

I can sort of see it when someone does not see me on the bike, what blows me away is when they don't see my big bright red crew cab Titan pickup. I have that as many times as when on the bike. It can fire you up when they see you and say to heck with it and pull over anyhow. Can you imagine if we all carried paint ball guns. The stupid people's cages would be all kinds of colors!

Get the license number and car, pull over, call the police and report the idiot. We're not supposed to take the law into our own hands anymore. You have to survive the incident, then report the jerk.

In China, I found that the engine guards are also good legs guards for a little contact. Most in town is done at slow speeds, so if someone starts trying to push me out of the way, I literally push back, as soon as they see I will not back down, they leave me alone. If they do bump into me, and there is damage.
They are in the wrong. If they stop, I call the police. If they want to fight, I call the police. One taxi cut me off 2 times, so I yelled some choice words, gave him the single finger salute. and drove off. He chased me down. I put my front tire on his door, and proceeded to yell '911'. Then slapped me, threatened me, and yell racist comments. It came down to me telling the police that I either want an apology, or I will press charges. I quickly got an apology. |

Get the tag number and post to platewire.com.
Might not change anything, but it's a little bit of cyber revenge! Or ride with Shawn Lattimer. He'll make sure the driver has a really bad day. |

I know a couple of guys that carry nuts, bolts ECT or ball bearings to throw at the offenders. I’ve thought of and tried to find marbles, but couldn't find them. I think I’ll try again.
