Dear Abby, I have been so blessed in my life. Great parents, great wife and kids, great job, and a great education. When I finally retired, I could hardly wait to spend time enjoying my favorite pastime -- bass fishing. I got my own little fishing boat and tried to get my wife to join me,...

Should I consider my 1981 kz110 a cruiser or streetbike?
So my friend is riding his new bike with pipes that have no heat shield. He typically rides wearing Dr. Martin shoes or boots, which is what he was wearing today. Well, guess what? Those pipe are hot enough to melt the soles and now he's got ugly black/golden melted rubber on his nice brushed...
My daughter is looking at a 03 Vulcan 500 LTD Roadster, she was lookng at the 800 but found this one it has 1200 miles on it leather bags and a windshield. for $3650 it is mint (guy clames divorce) She has been riding my 750 virago for a year so either bike would be no problem, I for one have...
Where, for god's sake, is located the engine number on VN1500 Classic/Nomad motorcycles? Please help me find it. Thanks Peter
I found information on the web about mounting 4 1/2" spotlights on the Nomads turn signal bar (http://www.gadgetjq.com/kirks_lightbar_mod.htm). They drill through the end caps and it appears to look good. These lights are available for around $75 for the pair. Has anyone tried this? Thanks
need some help guys, I am getting this intermittent noise coming from up front perhaps in the axle- brake caliper area, Does not occur all the time. Notice it more after I get the bike going after a few days in storage, at 40-45 mph sounds like a squeak and a squeal, Definitly loud enuff to...
I received my Techlusion TFI and am trying to figure out how to wire it. It was hard enough just finding the correct connectors under the tank let alone which wires to tap into. The printed instructions state that the injector wires are Blue/Red and Blue/Green but the wires on the rear connector...
Talked to a buddy about a Corbin gunfighter seat for my 800 and he said he had one, not very good for long distance travel. I have not rode my 800 any long distance yet to see how the stock seat feels. I want a solo seat, but don't like the looks of Mustang solos.
Well ya all know how it goes, ya look a one thing to add then another catches your eye. I'm adding new HK exhausts to my 1500 and now I was wondering if any one had any experience with the Kuryakyn hypercharger to get more air to the engine. Are they hard to install? Does it improve power like...
I picked up my bike today and it is awesome, I was able to ride it for a few miles and man am I impressed. The bike felt a lot heavier than my 800b and I was slightly concerned before letting the clutch out and taking off. As soon I got moving the concern was gone. The bike handled awesomly and...
My understanding is that the assembly plant for kawasaki is in Nebraska, the engines must be built in Japan and shipped here, right? any insight is appreciated, thanks, Doc.
I am thinking about getting a more frendly passenger seat. I was wondering how they mount compared to the stock seat. It the rear seat bolt on the fender used? I just cant picture in my head how they are mounted. Thanks.
Even the Kawasaki site gives no info as to what the max torque is at what rpm, where can I get this info, also, what do think my horsepower is max with Van & Hines, K@N, filter with jetted? Thanks, Doc.

WOOHOO!!! Got me some PhatRiser II's from ScootWorks, and I am in shock at how much difference they made! I LOVE 'em! I feel like I even have better control over the bike!! They look good, are sturdy, and so easy to install. I scratched 1 of them while installing tho when my handlebar slipped ...
My favorite rides are when I just pick a general direction on the backroads and go exploring. Lately though, on overcast days when I can't find the sun, I wish I had a compass on the bike so I can figure out what directions I'm choosing from at an interection, especially after 3 hours or so and I...
