    Default Is It Safe To start a bike without motor mounts

    Hi i am wondering if it would be safe to start my 91 kx 250 without motor mounts i have been restoreing this bike ever since october 08 just getting a little parts every now and then its now been put back together with everything all i need now is pipe brackets and motor mounts for the top end i just want to know safe to start but not ride is what im wondering

    you have the axle bolt and the lower bolt in? Sure.

    You'll need the front mounts to ride it.
    You don't have to use the top head stay mounts at all.
