Hi, I have a 1994 kdx200.. I do a lot of trail riding , I like to go fast but I also like the feeling of having torque when doing a hill climb .. So my question is what size front an rear sprocket would you recommend ??? Thanks for any help

To be honest it's a bit of trial and error getting the gearing right for what you want.
But basically.
For better low down you will loose a proportion of top end when you swap out the sprockets.
To achieve improved low down for Trail riding you need to either reduce the teeth on the Front sprocket or increase the teeth on the Rear sprocket or a combination of both.
be warned you will probably be limited to dropping 2 teeth on the Front before the chain is constantly running around the swing arm at it's pivot point, At this point if you still require more then go up on the Rear.
As a rule of thumb 1 tooth on the Front sprocket is equivelant to 3 teeth on the Rear sprocket.
END OF KEV's MESSAGE !
Thanks very much!! This was helpful!!
