    Default kx 80 help

i got a 00 kx 80, have had it for a long time now and just recently i was riding it and it started making a whining noise. It no longer makes the noise but it will not pull off, when you release the clutch it dies. It is like it wants to pull of but cant. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks in advance

take off your clutch cover and inspect the basket, Look on the outer basket fingers and look to see if there is grooving (where the clutch plates sit against) the grooving will prevent the plates from sliding up and down and can stall the bike when you put it into gear. if it is badly grooved you will need to get a new outer clutch basket.
