Default "GOLD FATTY PIPE" AND FMF SILENCER

I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL PICS OF DIRT BIKES WITH THE FATTY PIPE AND THE FMF SILENCER. DO THESE ENHANCE PERFORMANCE? OR ARE THEY JUST FOR LOOKS.

    THANKS, BENDO

The short answer is yes they do. I've had the fatty torque pipe on my kdx 200 and made tons more low end. i recently put the desert pipe on, supposed to be more of a rev pipe. it still made good lowend but increased the hit in the powerband, i really like it. So yes they really do work.

ARE THEY "BOLT ON" OR DO YOU HAVE TO DO ANY TUNING? AND DO YOU KNOW WHO HAS THE BEST PRICE ON THE PIPE AND SILENCER. ARE THERE ANY USED ONES FOR SALE?

    THANKS, BENDO

Mine was bolt on. You can use your stock silencer or theirs. You may have to richen your mainjet depending on where your jetting is now. I bought both mine on e-bay for about 1/2 new price, one was perfect the other was a little tweaked and took some adjusting to make it fit. When you buy used that can be expected sometimes. i actually leaned my main jet down a size but it was way rich when I got the bike. good luck Steve
