Fit on old bikes

i have a ?, i juss recently bought an 87 250, and was wondering if i can take any application of any 4 stroke 250 part, and place it on my bike, 4 example, clutch lever, shift lever, and pipe, can i buy a new aftermarket part or do i have to track down any parts available for my bike?>

what 87 250 do you have? and why 4 stroke? unless its a klx

so which bike do you have? is it a klr250. you can get parts for the older bikes easy enough that you dont have to frankensein them. the pipe i dont know. pipes are very specific. if you had two together you could see if the head flange matches and the rest of the bends match so they dont hit your frame or anything. But nothing i know of off hand will fit. Have you looked into a pipe for it already?
