Hi guys,
I am trying to replace the silencer packing on my 95 KX125. I pulled the silencer off and all the retaining skrews. However, the silencer seems to be gumed up with silicone sealer. Any ideas on how to get it open to replace the packing? |

It should just pull apart with a bit more force. I have a '02 kx125 and use silicon to seal the ends as well after repacking. Try to to move the ends left and right or up and down (which ever shows movement) as you pull it apart. Thats how I do it. Keep at it.

yeah I had this problem on my mate's Rm250, I just used a thin blade and cut as much as I could off, then just moved it around until it came off....just keep at it.
I would put some silicone back once you've re-packed it. |
