Kx 80 stator and flywheel problem

i have a 1987 kx 80 Ran ok but lost spark, got use stator and fly wheel put on and torqued down flywheel bolt and found out the flywheel crushed the stator, have tried three different stator and flywheels and all the same problem , any one got some answers for me

Did you crush all the stators??? I have the same exact bike and i lost spark too, here's the thing though, check to see if the ignition coil is still grounded to the frame. Mine rusted of so i had to run a wire from the coils ground to the frame, then i used machine ties to hold the coil down to the frame. That might be it, usually the simpler thing is the problem.
