Default Homemade pipe guards for FMF fatty ????

hey guys , i got a fmf fatty gold series for my 97 kdx 220 and i was just wondering if there is any sugestions on how i would go about making a homemade pipe guard for it , and which materials r best , cause i know i will have to sacrafice some strength for flexability , and i was thinking mabey a backbone shape would be the best way to go , made out of aluminum or some bendable 13 guage steel or something like that

that very top one is the design im thinking about taking , because it looks easy enouf to make , any sugestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated thank you
