Default Trouble Starting KX65 after fall

My son races a 07 kx65. When he wipes out he and I both have trouble starting the bike. This is very frustrating for him and I considering he will be in a good position to win and then he wipes out and places poorly. Anyone have any tips or tricks to help my son out? He can start the bike without any problems just after a fall the bike refuses to start for twenty kicks.

Thanks,

my boy has been through this.
Falling and stalling the bike results in a flooded carb. Hold the throttle wide open and kick it a few times. again, WIDE OPEN until it kicks over. That will open the slide and let enough air in to start it up.

My son's KX60 does the same thing. Like dmstarr mentioned, kick it wide open and rev it until it clears out. The cylinder loads up with fuel so fast that it will run poorly until the bottom end is cleared out. Tell him next time he falls to get the bike up as fast as possible kick it with WOT and rev it too the moon and win that race.
