Default Thinking of buying a 98 kx 125

I found this 98 KX 125 in my area forsale and it is in decent shape. He is asking 1200 cause he needs to get rid of it. it seems to be god deal butI thought I would ask you guys what questions to ask and what things to look for on this machine. The top end was just redone. It has bent a slightly bent from forks but his is including a another set form a 95 KX 250 that he says will fit. Will those actually fit?

Default buying KX125

Personally i think that that is a bit too expensive, i payed £550 for a 98 KX100 uprated to 122cc in almost perfect condition except for a few scratches on the faring.

Not to many people want a KX100 bored out, but $1,200 US dollars is high for something with problems.

I had a 98 and it was a great bike, need to machine the head for power and put a PC pipe and shorty silencer on it.

I would be very afraid of the fork situation.

Doesn't seem too bad. I'll check and see if the forks will fit. I'll get back to you on that in a day or two.

They might but I highly doubt it. Check with your dealer.
