If your really having trouble i always use kawasakis website and go to owner info and type in the vin and it gives you the year and parts daigrams and explosions! works everytime!

just found some pics of a 1990 an mine is totally different! could you tell from a photo if i put 1 up?

Nope. What you have to do is upload the pictures to something like photobucket then get the [IMG] [/IMG] code.

Umm, just a thought, are you in the UK? I was using the US VIN checker which is different to the UK one.

Ah! yes it probably is a 1999, I don't know how to ge tthe UK one up I found the US one by accident.

Us UK lot are few and far between on here, i'm only the other side of the country lol.

No, I haven't even been across there on holiday, might be going in the summer but I dont know where abouts to go, if I do go i'll make sure I ask you where to go.

Is that an engine number? A VIN has 17 digits.
