Default Pro Circuit Cover worth the $?

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I recently bought a 04 kx250f and it's my first motocross bike. I started to change the oil, and upon reading the manual I realized that I would have to drain the coolant to change the oil filter. I looked into changing the water pump cover so I would not have to drain the coolant every time, and the one I found was a Pro Circuit cover with and without an impeller, with a price difference of about $40.
I don't know much about motocross bikes and I'm wondering if spending the extra money is worth getting a cover with the impeller? And also, are they pretty easy to install?

can you post a link? If your stock impeller is fine then I dont know why you would purchase a new one. Its super easy to pull off the waterpump cover, just 3 bolts...

The main wear item in the water pump is the bearing and seals. If you drain your gear oil and it seems watery/coolanty (is that a word?) then your seals may be bad.

umm, what? Maybe I'm comfused as to what an impeller is/does? I thought from listing that the pro circuit impeller would make the bike run cooler than the factory?
There is nothing wrong with the bike. I am just changing the oil for the first time, and with the factory cover you have to drain the coolant every time you want to change the oil filter. So my main concern is getting a cover so I won't have to drain the coolant everytime I change the filter...

The impeller is the part that pushes the water through the system.
The PC impeller is probably a high-flow unit designed to work with your cover.

I don't know if their cover will work with the stock impeller or not... give them a call, they'll know.

If you have the money, then go for it. Otherwise, just get the covers without the impeller. I think Kawasaki goofed to not have them separate.
DO NOT e-mail me asking for a pdf of a manual!! Get a Freaking JOB like I did, and buy one!
